A shiny and silvery cargo/passenger military transport plane used in the 2004 movie "Flight of the Phoenix." The aircraft flew through a sandstorm, disabling one of its left engines, causing the propeller to come loose from the engine and slice through the front fuselage and the cockpit, leading the plane to lose control. Cargo like baggage and letters fell from above the passengers while the plane rolled violently as the pilots tried to stabilize the aircraft. Its rear cargo door ripped apart after the rear of the aircraft collided with a rocky arch, causing some cargo, including explosive materials, to fall off the aircraft. One gas barrel was ripped off the aircraft's horizontal stabilizer, and one passenger fatally fell to the rocky ground. The plane crash-landed on the sandy dunes in the Gobi Desert, Mongolia, and everyone onboard survived except for one missing person. The team worked together to rebuild the wrecked C-119 into a functional aircraft, which was christened after a legendary bird, the "Phoenix."
