Spitfire Mk XIV Griffon
One of the fastest, deadliest, and most advanced piston engined fighters ever built, the Spitfire was an aircraft unlike no other. Pilots of the aircraft say it was forged in heaven, and that flying is what it does best. Although the Spitfire was one of the most produced single engine fighters during WW2, only about 30% were fitted with the Rolls Royce Griffon V12, due to the war ending. The rest were fitted with the less powerful Rolls Royce Merlin. If you were in a fleet of BF-109's and you saw a fleet of Spitfires heading your way, it's time to say your prayers my friend, as you wont be living much longer. NOTE: With this Spitfire in Simpleplanes, be easy on the controls please, as it tends to flip out of control. I have no idea why it does this, but I suspect it could just be a game bug. Features: Gun tracers, 4 7.7mm machine guns, 2 Hispano 20mm cannons. Please leave feedback down below. Thanks for downloading! I spent 4 hours working on this!
