Great Republic Clipper
This amecican ship is a clipper from 1853. It is the "Great Republic", the biggest Clipper ever built, the biggest wooden tallship and the only ever clipperbark with four masts. It was built by Donald McKay as a masterpiece of his ship building abilities.This replica is one of the biggest sailing ships I have so far built in SP, the masts and the stern all had to be built seperately because they wouldn't fit in the creator at once. This is my entry for BlazeInfinity's ship challenge. The ship is mostly built after original data in scale 1:1, the Sails are all in their original position except for the outer most foresail, wich is missing, aswell es the leesails. In the water it leans to the side a bit, like a real clipper would do. also the yards and sails are put on at an angle to make it look more realistic. VTOL to turn the anchorspills and trim to open the doors on deck. when steering (with roll), the steering wheel turns and the rudder moves.

Updated version For anyone who needs it.
@WahrscheinlichIch I had to get a new iPad. Can you tag me on the updated version again?
Please help me, this is the best looking clipper on the site.
Took a lot of math, but it was worth it. I believe it must have broken in an update.
Having trouble uploading the photos but it sits at a 314 degree angle at 112 mph, which is the slowest I can make it go. At 200+ miles an hour it sits at a capsizing 180 degrees. Most items slip off after 90 degrees. Most clippers shifted angles depending on the wind speed and wave height. But never 314 degrees. On a clear day they stood at a firm 0.
it did it at 50%+ but at 25 this happens. At this amount of tip, the sailors would have slipped off. I am an expert in sailing ships, and this amount never happened. My summer home is 5 miles from an old shipyard where clippers were built. Check my channel for the photos.
Upside down.
@JamesBleriot Does it turn upside down or just a few degrees? because that is intentional
May I have some help? I have added 20-30 gyroscopes but it still tips. Once it gets going, I cannot right it.
Amazing! And only 596 parts!
@Flash0of0green thanks
looks great. @WahrscheinlichIch
@HellFireKoder Thank you ^^
That mod is the best thing ever, you are a genious!
@WahrscheinlichIch Here's the beta version with scaling, though scaling it down is unlikely to make a noticeable difference in performance, as it's still 600 parts, with the same physics calculations and stuff happening... then again, I'm not sure how the size affects rendering performance.
@TheLatentImage Where can I get said mod? That would make building these big a** ships one hell of a lot easier
@WahrscheinlichIch it is true, @HellFireKoder made a scale mod that will scale an entire build.
@TheLatentImage is that true? would be nice if there was a way to scale everything at once ^^
@Polandball sorry mate, but one does not simply scale down 600 parts :/
(unless there is a feature of scaling down everything at one that I don't know about)
It is...... Somehow...@WahrscheinlichIch
@nathanwpfc is it? If it is, that would be insane!
How is this even mobile friendly?
@WahrscheinlichIch bei läufts auch ganz gut
@birdsofsteel Ersctaunlicherweise bekomme ich sogar echt gute fps trotz der Größe
@jamesPLANESii Thank you ^^
gross sehr gross und das beste ist ich kann das schiff benutzen hab sp endlich aud dem pc =)
