Blohm und Voss P.3211a/b "Adlerhorst und Schlüpfen"

Ok... quite the monster, this...

I always wanted to build some sort of Wunderwaffen 1946 model, but not the usual hyper fast jet fighter sort of thing you see so much of, no... I wanted to build something different. Fundamentally different.

And here is that thing.

The Blohm und Voss P.3211a and the associated P.3211b parasite fighter.
This unconventional design very quickly garnered the title "Adlerhorst" or Eagles Nest for the mother ship, with the two parasite fighters being referred to as "Schlüpfen" or hatchlings / baby birds.

She is designed as a flexible multi role airborne attack / defense / command and control centre.

For the attack role, the mother ship would advance in concert with conventional ground and airborne ground attack forces as a sort of flying tank, using her on board armament (cannons in the front and rear of each outrigger along with the "Drehkanonen" - rotary cannon turrets) to suppress and destroy enemy ground forces. The hatchling fighters could then be launched to drive off any aerial attack.

For the defense role, a group of mother ships would ascend to altitude, and under the guidance of ground radar, form a picket directly in the route of allied bombing formations. These pickets would then launch their fighters to drive off any escorts and then attack the bombers - driving them towards the picket line, bristling with cannons.

Of course, these designs never made it past the draft proposal stage, with the designer of the P.3211b (a certain Alexander Lippisch) being removed from the project to concentrate on the Messerschmitt Me 163 project).

An additional (and stomach turning) feature of the hatchlings is the hundred or so kilos of explosive in the nose. Yes, the P.3221b was intended to operate, if required, as a suicide bomb.

Anyway - the controls;

Throttle;
This directly controls the amount of lift generated by throttling the lifting engines.

Yaw;
This is the primary directional control. In effect it pivots the rear pusher engine assembly.

Pitch;
This couples / de-couples the rear pitch control fans accordingly, giving authority over pitch.

Roll;
This, when used together with AG4 and AG5 rotates the Drehkanonen turrets.

AG1 - actives the rear pusher engine assembly with VTOL to control the throttling of the rear pusher engine
AG2 - Detaches the forward P.3211b
AG3 - Detaches the rear P.3211b
AG4 - Activates and arms the left side turret
AG5 - Activates and arms the right side turret
AG6 - Activates nav lights
AG7 - Not used
AG8 - Gyro stabilization on / off. Best leave this on. Trust me.
Gear - cycle landing gear.

The P.3211b fighters each have their own chase cameras (I haven't figured out how to switch from cockpit to cockpit...) and fly quite nicely. They have their own landing gear and two wing mounted cannon.

Comments for improvement are very welcome, as this was a bit of a departure for me.

    It was built on an iPhone6, so it might run for you? Thanks, by the way. @Tang0five
