The Kamov Ka-27 (NATO reporting name 'Helix') is a military helicopter developed for the Soviet Navy, and currently in service in various countries including Russia, Ukraine, Vietnam, China, South Korea, and India. Variants include the Ka-29 assault transport, the Ka-28 downgraded export version, and the Ka-32 for civilian use.

Service in BNPB (Indonesian National Disaster Prevention Agency)

In Indonesia, Ka-32A 11BC is popularly used when competing as a fire fighting helicopter (fire fighting) during a forest fire suppression mission in Kalimantan in 2015. Ka-32A 11BC is rented by BNPB (National Disaster Management Agency) with a rental fee of Rp150 million per hour. As a fire extinguisher, this helicopter carries Bumbi Bucket which can carry 5 tons of water to be poured into a hotspot. Even if you want to be more serious, fire fighting cannon is pinned. For other commercial tasks, Ka-32A 11BC is also in demand as a vehicle for tower installation. This heli can give a role when construction must be carried out at a height.
