Slow, Heavy, and thicked skinned, the Armadillo is Texas' heaviest armored tank destroyer with a 13 inch thick hull - a feature that causes such great stress on the tracks of the vehicle that a unique jack turning system to move the machine left and right, the first models of the tank's frontal armor was initally Jersey wall concrete barriers and was known as the "Dust Devil" by Texan infantrymen due to impacts from enemy shells causing the walls to explode in a cloud of concrete shrapnel and dust, temporarily blinding the vehicle while slightly sheilding it from enemy units.
