Gyroscope-Powered Car

35.2k IzzyIA  7.0 years ago

This is my unmodded gyro-powered car. It uses four of my double universal joints and a gyro for each one to power one of my new wheels. The wheels are an experiment of mine that took about an hour and a lot of trigometry to make lol. I plan to use them to make Gears. Oh, and despite this being gyro powered, it does not use gyros for stability or control, just thrust.

Controls-

VTOL: Go forward and Backward

Roll: Turn Left and Right

(Pulls up in gyro car)
“Hey baby wanna get in my all-wheel drive”

I’m sorry for that

P.S. I think my favorite part of this is how the top looks like this guy

P.P.S. Upon further experimentation, I have discovered that this thing can drive while fully submerged under water, I guess it is a submarine too lol.

@IzzyIA I tried recreating the part between the gyro and the wheel, but connections are going crazy. Could you fix it if I linked the build?

I know you asked 4 months ago, but the answer is learning a little bit of calculus on the Internet so I could make circles XD @ThePrototype

I'm actually working on a 3 barreled minigun and I can't figure out a way to crank it without engines @IzzyIA

I have tried, and the only way that I have found so far is via my piston engine “that works like a crank shaft”. I have gotten up to 35 mph, but it is hard to control and cannot throttle the speed, always has to be at 100%. But yeah maybe one day I can make it better we will see lol @Birdman9301
