This is my Douglas A-4 Skyhawk. The A-4 was first flown onhe 22nd of june, 1954. This plane is a carrier capable fighter. Highly manueverable amd easy to land on carriers makes this a great plane for your squadron. This small, agile fighter carries four interceptors air-to-air missiles, two guardian air-to-air missiles. Carrier landing parachutes(which i am now calling arresting chutes) are on (5,6). The wing droptanks are on (7). It might need a little trim in full speed flight(above 650 mph) but that is needed for sufficiant carrier landings. This plane was featured in top gun as a training plane to dogfight.
