A cheeky entry for the Biplane Madness Challenge. Not strictly speaking a biplane, but I hope it can enter?
The Fokker Dr.31 Pfeil. A dieselpunk nemesis for my Sopwith Shadow.
Features;
- An 18 cylinder in line power plant with mobile inlet trumpets
- 4X30mm kannon mounted in the engine housing and firing through the prop arc.
- all moving control surfaces. This thing will snap roll with the best of them.
- sketchy yaw stability. Very sketchy.
- no trim. Hands on stick at all times, old chap.
- cam 1 for the pilot.
