A-8 Aquan E - IAF 110 Sqn
Name: A-8E Aquan E - IAF 110 Sqn
Type: Personal Concept
Attempt #: 8
Falkenwut Generation Build: 7
After a good 2 to 3 weeks down the line, and I can finally release, my (hopefully) final release of the A-8 Aquan Export variant!
I have built the plane up from scratch, using a detailed blueprint I made, blending the A-7E Corsair II, F-16, F-11F Tiger, Sepecat Jaguar GR.1 and F-9 Cougar as base models into the final model You see before you.
I have attempted to give this plane a detailed camouflage, in Israeli Air Force 110 Squadron, Knights of the North colors, which was both tricky and very time consuming.
I have attempted to give the best cockpit experience for VR, learning from the reviews given to me in my past builds.
Special thanks to @EZkel for the Gunsight!
I hope you guys ike this plane, especially in VR. It has been a very challenging build, and I hope you all enjoy it :)

@Falkenwut yes, if you attach a cylinder grip to what you already have it should work.
@AndrewGarrison Would I need to attach a joystick or cylinder grip to make it interactable? Also, would it strictly need to be a Joystick Base for it to move around in VR?
@Falkenwut No, the trim is not interactable. Everything else is fantastic though. Very nice build!
@AndrewGarrison Thanks for the upvote. I wanted to ask if the trim to the right is interact-able in VR?
And in regards to the latter part, that'd be awesome!
@Falkenwut that's super cool!!! Really ingenious. Looking at your blueprint now, I can see what you mean, and you nudged everything so perfectly, that unless you look close, it looks like you drew it all yourself
@LieutenantSOT basic MSPaint. I grabbed Aircraft blueprints of real planes I wanted to take inspiration from, take parts I want from them (Top, Side and Front views where applicable), position and resize to the proportion I want it, save, then I place it in-game at the size I want to plane to be in, and I start building it.
It's not perfect, you can see some details I missed (ex. wing dihedral and cockpit glass angle), but I use it kinda like a guide of sorts.
From my experience doing this, you kinda get a feel of why planes are designed the way they are. Highly recommend you try it out yourself, or find me in the Discord servers and we can try making one together :)
Also, how did you make that blueprint!?
@Falkenwut great job on this one, dude!! It's super good
@PyroFizz maybe in the far future. Been incredibly busy lately and was lucky to release it as it is!! Feel free to fix it if you wish! This was my first time working with in-wing gears...
@PyroFizz ... it's a fictional plane...
@MRpingouin That would be this - a previous iteration of the same plane
Amazing, can I get a link to that plane on the 3rd picture in the discription it looks interesting
@LonelyAustrianUhlan Thanks for the heads up. I tried finding
the right terms words in hebrew, but it was proving to be a very challenging task, so I tried my way using google translate...
For some reason Google translate was throwing my text to the right side, could be the reason why the text is flipped...
@Falkenwut No mistakes (kind of, they're all super direct translations witch wouldn't be used), it just seems to be written backwards, same with the other Hebrew writing, other then that, amazing plane!
@LonelyAustrianUhlan Yes, it's supposed to mean "RESCUE". Some versions of Israeli A4 has Hebrew written decals. I tried to replicate it with google translate, but I think I made a few mistakes...
what is the 'ליצהל' supposed to mean?
like is it supposed to be 'להציל' (to rescue) ?
