This is the Gen 3 MTR (Multi Tilt Rotor). It has the ability to take off vertically similar to a helicopter, but fly like a large frame aircraft. To use vertical take off simply move the VTOL control all the way up. Once your clear and off the groung, quickly return the VTOL control to center.
