The prototype of this one-person aircraft, using a de Havilland Gipsy VI engine of 200 horsepower, and on 1 August 1954 successfully tested the flight. Then made the next version known as NU-225. Aircraft The Beetle-02 uses a Continental engine O-470-A-powered 225 horsepower, successfully tested flying on 25 September 1957.
