Backstory:
Initially an experiment to assess the feasability of a carrier-based interceptor/deep penetration bomber, the KR.R-144 was one of the most successful aircrafts that Inazuma Aerospace Industries has sold to the Inazuman Shogunate Navy (ISN).
During the Great Watatsumi Famine, it was clear to the ISN that they needed a deep penetration bomber to deal with the Watatsumi Island Resistance Force (WIRF, but now called Watatsumi Island Independent Forces after peace treaties after the war) before sending their infantry into the captured islands. At around the same time, Inazuma Aetospace Industries was experimenting on a twin-engined, delta wing aircraft that can go supersonic both at low and high altitude.
Seeing the aircraft, the Shogunate's forces funded the research and had requested the aircraft be put into production as soon as safely possible. It only took a year for Inazuma Aerospace Industries to perfect the design, the production version boasting a massive payload space. Capable of carrying a wide loadout including fuel tanks for more range, conventional and nuclear bombs, and even air to air missiles for interception operations.
As the aircraft saw extensive service in the Navy, Inazuma Aerospace Industries provided new variants with upgrades in avionics and targeting systems, and new engines that increased its top speed. The first production prototype of the C variant (Serial Number 14-M30W) was placed into service on the Yashiori Island front, fighting alongside the Shogun against Orobashi and the WIRF.
Years after the great war, the aircraft stayed in service and was retired way after the Cataclysm ended. After its retirement, the delivery company, Komaniya Express acquired a fleet of 5 aircraft for their expedite delivery. The aircraft 14-M30W falling in the hands of the nekomata, Kirara, who prides herself with her rapid deliveries. The modifications to the aircraft included adopting the hardpoints for delivering packages instead of conventional weapons.
With her deliveries requiring her to fly in contested airspace, she had Nagonahara Weapons ltd. supply custom made missiles which were affectionally named "Special Package" for self defense.
Komaniya Express KR.R-144 "Boxcats" are still extensively used by Komaniya express to deliver very important packages or just rapid deliveries in general....
Other Trivia:
- The aircraft is inspired by the Tomcat because Kirara is a cat
Instructions:

Ag. 5 for afterburner
Ag. 6 to arm missiles
Ag. 7 to dump missiles
Ag. 8 for lights
Important Note:
I tried to make this aircraft feel like a delta wing, with low maneuverability at low speed and a bit of a high stall speed....
Please Enjoy ?

@Speedhunter That's a real thing, just never built.
@Mahoots next cursed plane idea: A variable-geometry wing Phantom 💀
It's hideous I love it
