The space vangaurd is my biggest project yet! I spent weeks creating not only a functional aircraft without gyroscope but a aircraft that makes sense, and has a story. The sun has exploded and our solar system has been fleed by all lifeforms. Nasa had found another solar system we could colonise that has water and oxygen. There are hundreds of small moons each with the materials to survive. Each country owns and lives on a moon and the moons all orbit around one large planet which we get the majority of our mining and rescource extraction from. Even though we have all escaped together and all countries had united to save us from the suns explosion there are still other countries who may want war. The usa are still the most influencial country at this time and do not want war in any form. They construct the first ever space military vehicle i history called the SPACE VANGAURD! The SV for short is a true masterpeice of engineering. Although it lacks missiles, bombs, or even rockets, it has countermeasures and guns. This may seem weak but it still has what is needed and does not have any other spacecraft posing a threat to it so guns will have to do. It is streamlined and may fly somewhat slow to your expectations but once in space it can hit lightspeed after an hour and a half, this makes interstellar travel somewhat faster. It has control surfaces for when in planets with athmosphere but also thrust vectoring and rcs for spaceflight so it can manouver in a vacuum it needs a to use a landing strip for its landing gear but the usa have installed one with a strong gravity generator in their planet so landing becomes easier and the landing trip does nit need to be super long. It has a inside cockpit with controls both for spaceflight and athmosphere flight. This is because they differ from each other and in space, speed is measured in gravitational speed and in athmosphere it is in kmph or mph. It is a prototype for the usa so only flies at 250 mph in athmosphere but thi
