Landing Craft with Story
I wrote a little story about the battle the landing craft was in. (Story below why I made it, Instructions are below the story.) I thought it would be cool to make a landing craft with a tank that works. I was just sitting in study hall after I finished my homework and thought, "I want to see if I can make a working landing craft". And here it is. (Story written by me below) Disclaimer: this is not based on true events and does not contain real ship, or people's names. It was not an average day at sea for Johnson and the crew of the S.S Echo. Today, they were the lucky ones who were going to be in a tank on the first landing craft that was going to storm the beach that morning. They were not ready, nor were all the other men that were going to rush in behind them. It was the first time anyone of them had seen any real combat. Nothing could have prepared them for what was to come. As the landing crafts started to depart one by one, the air grew even more tense than it all ready was. It didn't get much better as they were drawing closer to the beach, in fact, it made it even worse for Johnson and his crew of three, who had butterflies in their stomachs. At that moment, when the ramp of the landing craft opened, Johnson remembered promising his wife and kids he would be back before Christmas, "I plan on keeping that promise", he said, right before the bullets started flying at his tank from the machine gun nests bunkered on the beach. He could see the other landing crafts landing through the side window of his tank. It was not a pretty sight. He knew he had to act fast. As the bullets were flying and ricocheting off his tank, it started to advanced onto the enemies position. The tanks turret aimed and fired. It was a miss. Each second counted, the infantry needed to gain some ground, fast. Unlike the first shot, the tanks second shot hit its mark, and each shot after that. It wasn't long before Johnson and his crew had destroyed every enemy nest

It didn't put up everything I wrote! Instructions for the landing craft: To steer, use yaw. When approaching a beach, increase speed to 100% until you are right on the beach, then lower speed to 0%. In order to make sure the tank can go, the vtol engines on the bottom of the landing craft must be barely above water (They should all ready be above if you hit the beach fast enough). To release the tank, activate group 1 and use the vtol to lower the ramp (move it up to lower). Then turn group 1 off and move the vtol back to the center. Activate group 2 to disconnect tank from landing craft. Increase speed to 4% and the tank should drive out. To activate the turret on the tank, press 3. End of instructions, have a successful beach raid!!! Be sure to Upvote if you like it. Thank you!!!
