Landing: You have to butter it, no mistakes, lest you die. When landing, brake will cause you to pitch down on your wheels. To counteract this, pitch up on your stick.

Design

New company, what in the chocolate?

I set out to create an escort fighter for Germany, something which they never had. Thus, this is the result. Based on the Bf-110 and the P-38, it's has an odd look, with quadricycle landing gear, and a long and rather not slender body. The only thing about this aircraft that is anywhere near to close to historical is the engine, which has one to one stats with the FW-190 engine in terms of weight and horsepower.

This is a simple aircraft, at least in comparison to everything else I've done, but this will serve as the basis for future German aircraft, meaning aircraft coming from the big 3 will be coming in the future.

Another feature is a sliding canopy, which appears to be quite rare. I only manage to find two examples, one in an aircraft and one in a canopy pack. I hope that in simpleplanes two, sliding canopies are a stock piece because adding this was a hassle. I am pretty sure it's VR compatible, but I cannot be certain as I do not own simpleplanes vr.
