Yak-15 Yakovlev Turbojet (Upvote!)
(If you could upvote that would be appreciated! Thanks!) It has been said throughout the ages, there can be no victory, without great sacrifice. This is the same with the first TurboJet fighters. The Yak-15 was a speedy and manuverable aircraft capable of speeds over 350 mph. The only issue is problems with g forces and wing snaps at high speed turning in earlier models. But finally the Yak-15 was finished after multiple causualties and multiple years of stealing research from the east and reverse engineering it. (Quick note, the trim needs to be just a smidge or 2 upward for it to fly almost perfect straight, this is because of the placement of the engine on the underneath of the nose. Enjoy!) @lisFailing
I’m not a great fan of them either, I just had an idea and I went with it. Thanks for the thumbs up though.
(ew, soviet jets)
still a great plane you got there
If I could upvote I would, handles like a dream. Kinda was expecting a Mig rip-off or someone who just copied but you actually created a new, good engine system. 👌
*the underneath engine took 2 or so hours to balance with the aircraft. Sorry for the wait!
