One for the replicas, this is the He 162 "Volksjäger", late WW2 German jet fighter. The paint job I chose is not the most widespread but definitely the most practical to reproduce. I adjusted the engine and the guns with some XML editing to roughly fit acutal characteristic of the plane. No special controls or AGs, simply shoot dem cannons !
It topples backwards on the ground eventhough the CoG is within the three points of the carriage. Putting the weight forward would require more trimming in flight, and putting the wheel backwards is less realistic.

@Synthex4060 totally agree...I really notice some users who when they post state: "100% accurate!". The reality of the situation is that every single replica on this site has its share of compromises to make it more flyable or more detail accurate, nothing is 100% accurate, so, like you, I like a nice compromise and I definitely work to make my replicas fun to fly!
@ChiChiWerx the Feather was actually some beforehand experimenting :p . And yes, I try to keep the models simple. I'm more interested in getting the overall shape and dimensions (as well as characteristics) right than tweaking all sorts of little details. My day job involves making details nad I get my fair share of that already :p
Nice replica of the Salamander and kind of like your Feather...😉. Plus, it's only 62 parts!
Sorry for this, but my salamander is better
Sweet! It flys nice!
