most of ships during wwi were pianted in grey，like the battleships in the RN
actually most germany ships in the wwi(especially battlecurisers)is pretty cool

German ship is always look quite scary to me because its always depicted (not always but oh well...) with dark grey and red (usually in anime like Azur Lane Animated, german ship looks scary, smug and arrogant looking in the anime) german ship itself (irl) does look scary because the use of dark grey and other dark color
