The XFV variant of the TF-800 was developed as a joint venture between ATLAS Aviation and Günther & Häwkes technology development department. The XFV features an all new EFCS (Enclosed Flight Control System) giving the pilot a 360* view around the aircraft. The XFV is also equipped with Günther & Häwkes' AMP-23 micro silos.
This aircraft also features the new Günther & Häwke RG-36FE Mod.2 short range fox 1 missile and is equipped with integrated ECM equipment.
