This is the definitive version of the F4U Corsair used during the Korean War. The model is based on EngineerOtaku's F4U-1 Corsair.
New Features Includes:
1. A slightly powerful engine.
2. A new cockpit design and a good looking cockpit view with instrument panels (doesn't work).
3. US Marine aircraft markings and roundels used during the Korean War.
4. A hydraulic piston for raising the main cockpit view when the landing gears are down.
5. A Catapult Bridle used during carrier take-offs aboard USS Beast.
Main Controls and Activation Groups:
A & D = Ailerons
W & S = Elevators
Q & E = Rudder
AG1 = Arrestor Hook
AG2 = Folding Wings
AG3 = Drop Tanks
AG7 = Release Catapult Bridle
VTOL = Flaps
Trim = For Trim Controls
Note:
1. While hooked on USS Beast's catapult, do not go full throttle or you'll lean forward and break the propeller.
2. This aircraft has some issues when taking off from an airport or an airfield, it usually yaws hard to the left and skid across the runway for no apparent reason. I recommend using the ailerons and roll it to the right to balance it out while building up speed for take off.
3. The catapult bridle can cause issues while taking off from the airport. Activate Group 7 to release it.
