Original Pigpen can do Pugachev's cobra

Auto Credit Based on Jundroo's Pigpen

The original Pigpen from simpleplanes can do this post stall manuever (Pugachev's cobra) really easily by just pitching up and braking (under 430mph).

How is this possible? What are the physics behind this?

I've been palying SP for years and never managed like this despite i put center of lift really close to center of mass (except with installing VTC system).

I'd like some help in doing this on simpleplanes without VTC systems.

(i'm sorry for any grammar mistakes...i'm italian)

I upgraded the original gripen... VTOL was airbrake. I left the throttle on 25% + VTOL down. It worked fine.

@Bo123 make it sure that when you pitch up and brake throttle is at 0% and if it also doesn't work try it at 350 mph

A really big part of this is making the control surface strong enough to push the plane into the maneuver.

Here, the canards are not strong enough to do the cobra alone and the air brakes in front create the force needed.

I have a few planes that can do the Cobra without help from Thrust Vectoring, If you would like to see them, I'll post them.

I've never found it easier to do a Pugachev's Cobra in SimplePlanes before, pretty cool!

Canard wing and front-placed air brakes make this plane perform stall maneuver possible.you can try adding airbrakes in front of other planes, some will perform the same effect.

You think that's extreme, i just built a new one with the new jet engine mod and it's unhinged.

Non potrei mai davvero capire come questa cosa ha funzionato anche dopo 1,3 anni di gioco. I used Google translate to write that because I wanted to learn Italian :)
