Piston Engine Mk. 1
The first official version of my piston-engine.
The engine will never get stuck in a stalled state, due to there always being a piston which is not fully extended or retracted, and thus able to apply a rotation. This capability does come at he cost of being more difficult to start than standard piston engines due to the requirement of having to cycle two of the pistons to a halfway retracted state first. The more precise this is done, the better the engine will run.
The engine should be able to reach quite a high throttle state if aligned properly, but it can also be used for low speed applications due to the engine not having a stall state.
How to use:
1. Enable AG 1 and 2.
2. Throttle up ever so slightly (about 1% is enough) and line up the red cylinder with the glass indicator (and set throttle to 0 when aligned).
3. Disable AG 1 and enable AG 3.
4. Throttle up to start the engine.
Depending on whether the you let the red cylinder align from the bottom or the top, the engine will spin counterclockwise or clockwise respectively (as seen from the front/free end). Changing direction mid-flight is possible, but only when the engine is in the original oriëntation/alignment.
Possible problems:
When moving/rotating the assembly, sometimes a part of the 2nd and 4th piston from the back will automatically form incorrect connections which you will have to remove manually.
If you want to use this engine, feel free to do so. If publishing it, a mention in the description would be nice, and if you could also ping me, I'd love to see the contraptions it is used in.

@Bishobe It did 2 frickin combat rolls to the side when i went into slow motion. Thanks for such epic info

so i learned it doesn't like slow motion.
