The LA-02 Sea Otter is based on a Blackburn Type D Monoplane and was armed with the same machine guns as the LA-01 but powered by a Michaenvoss MV4 8-piston Radial Engine but some would be careless if they pitch the aircraft too high during takeoff or low speeds because of a large elevator control surface.
