So in case you aren't familiar, Can-Am racing is a historic class of racing that took place in the 60s and 70s that was famous for being the closest thing to anything-goes that racing has ever seen. Today, under the request of Sm10684 I have endeavoured to bring this incredible racing series to a challenge on this fine website. Here's how it's going to work.
Guidelines
Your goal is to build a racecar.
the deadline is December 1st. This gives you just over a month to build something.
There are no limitations to what you can make.
All entries must be a successor.
Judging
There are only two categories for judging: Performance and Realism.
Realism is out of 15 points, performance is out of 10 for a total of 25 points.
While there are technically no limitations to what you can make, keep in mind that the goal of this challenge is to build something that could participate in a racecar race. With this in mind, styling reminiscient of actual Can-Am series cars or accurate replicas are highly encouraged. Things such as futuristic hover-cars or Hypnotoad style contraptions will not score high in the realism department. Keep in mind that back in the day, these cars had two seats and closed wheels, details that you can use to your advantage. One thing I would encourage is extrapolating the old designs to modern day.
To sum this up, build something that looks, feels, and handles like it could actually exist.To judge performance, I will drive your creation around, including a circuit of Gold Prix Raceway where I will record your time. Ideally, realistic yet good performance will be included on your creation.
Judging will be done by me and Talon7912 (currently known as All)
Prizes will be 10 upvotes + a spotlight (if possible) for 1st place, 5 upvotes for 2nd place, and 3 upvotes for 3rd. Results will be announced sometime in the next century and all participants will be tagged on a forum post. Talon might add their own prize on top of this.

The top PC player will also likely win their choice of a Steam Key for either Gotham Knights or Back 4 Blood.

@ToeTips that's true, I'm hoping to hit another growth spurt at some point, but if I don't it'll be ok. I have started to try and branch out to other positions at least a little bit, but that can be hard if you're the tallest and heaviest one on the team haha

It happens but I would advise you learn some Point and shooting guard moves just incase it turns out to be 6'3. But at your age you have a lot of growing potential so its very possible.
@ToeTips pretty much. I’m about 6’ 1”, but they say I’m gonna be like 6’ 5-6”. I don’t really believe that but I wouldn’t complain if it happened lol
