Interceptors, reinmagined...

Indeed, a new standard for future interceptors was set when this thing first took flight in 1959, over the Krakobloa archipelago, and sored across the Wright Isles at an altitude of 80,000 feet at Mach 3. No aircraft of its time, or as a matter of fact, a decade later, can even come close to catching this absolute bullet of a plane. Possessing not only the afro mentioned high altitude performance and speed, it is also agile at high speeds, thanks to its gen 5 control boosters, able to negate all compression up to 400 mph IAS. It is a purpose born Interceptor, and due to it's adaptability, was used as an all purpose fighter by the Krakobloa Air Force for decades.

As mentioned before, the plane is able to operate at a record breaking 80,000 feet, and achieve the speed of Mach 3.3 at that altitude, matching the SR-71 Black Bird. In contrast, this isn't just an camera on an over-priced airframe, it is designed to Intercept and fight. The performance of the plane is indeed average, if not subpar in a dog fight at low altitude. However, as other fighters climb after you, dramatically loosing their engine performance and their control surface effectiveness, this aircraft retains its performance, and utterly dominates without question. Armed with 4 KMG 20mm MK.1 Cannons, with 200 rounds in each cannon, rest assured, anyone who dare crosses your airspace will be swiftly eliminated. In addition to a hard point on each tip of the wing, and a hardpoint under the center of the fuselage, it is able to carry missiles, and even nuclear payloads if necessary.

Stats
name: K-9 MK.1 mod.2
codename: "Grey Hound"
designation: All Weather Interceptor
speed: 750mph at sea level, Mach 3.3 at 80,000 feet
max altitude: 80,000 feet
stall speed: 150mph IAS, at full flaps
do not exceed speed: 850mph IAS
combat radius: 600 miles
ferry range: 3300 miles, at max altitude and speed

fighting tactics
This is a Interceptor, therefore it is built to catch and destroy bombers with ease. However, if engaged in dog fights, it is able to do anything one needs it to do. However, this aircraft's biggest advantage is speed and high altitude performance, therefore it is recommended to either employ boom and zoom tactic, or simply dragging brainless pilots into altitude where their plane simply can not operate at, or simply able to avoid any confrontation by such tactic.

cockpit instructions I know the editing is horrible, just bare with me...

flight instructions
Roll
Pitch
Yaw
VTOL down, flaps,
Trim
1, NAV, strobe, and position lights
camera1, target tracking camera for epic dog fights
no other fancy jawns...

notes
1: this aircraft does use Gestours instrument mods, both of them, and the light mod. However the Aircraft is completely functional without them.
2: credit to Tucan for the screenshots.
3: I should work on my image editing skill, yes.
