RJ Windwhirl MK1 3.1
Introduction
The Westland Whirlwind was a WW2 British fighter design that i always liked but i thought about how to change it up and make it a bit chuinkier in places so i used the basic wing design, added some cranks and made it into a canard... Hence it is the RJ Windwhirl now.
So I started this build in April this year, had it flying at about 50% built and finally finished it in the last few days. Just par for the course really... I do enjoy flying this one about, it is fun and takes some stick while also needing a bit of care with trimming etc.
Controls
AG1-2 = start each engine individually
VTOL dn = flaps
TRIM = elevator trim (please use it, different speeds = different trim settings)
Note: full flaps recommended for takoff and landing (i know normal aircraft only use upto 1/2 for takeoff but in this weird design full works better, or trim to assist).
