The Keris is a dagger with Malay origins, but the Ottomans used it during the Trench Warfare due to it's excellent stabbing ability compared to the Bowie Knife. Although it may look odd, but the Keris is excellent for piercing through the skin of enemies and when pulled out, will also cause more bleeding to the foe, making him bleed to death on the inside

I considered making a knuckleduster trench knife, but decided against it, since that was a French creation. @Supermini555 @MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation

In close quarters, it's more of a hassle to use swords, daggers are easier to use and more effective in the trenches, while swords in the battlefield @MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation

However, things like knives, clubs, and spades were more common. Cheaper, simpler, easier to use, and just as effective.

Swords were quite long, and that may impair its use in a trench. Clubs, entrenching spades, and knives are far more compact. @MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation

I also think many soldiers will use improvised daggers as well.

    I shall make that. @Supermini555
