The M44A2 Spartan IFV(H) is the latest variant of the Spartan line of Heavy Infantry Fighting Vehicles. The A2 gives the Spartan a new Paternian turret equipped with the same M17A1 30mm autocannon, capable of firing tiny little HEAT rounds to scare the s--t out of an enemy LAV crew. The new Spartan gains the ability to fire two ATGMs from a pod on the side of its turret. The ATGMs give Spartan a higher effectiveness against tanks. Speaking of tanks, Spartan is one of the only IFVs in the world than can withstand AP shots from tanks, as it has the chassis of the M28 Basilisk with the TUSK II kit. The M44A2s armor is superior to older models, utilizing the top of the line Archangel VI composite. This particular tank, "Lucifer", is assigned to 3rd AD, 2nd Armored Regiment, 1st Battalion, 4th Company, 2nd Platoon, 1st Squad. The 3rd AD is currently deployed in Colorado for winter training exercises.

I prefer flat and wide turrets for IFVs, unless wheeled. @Dllama4

It's an IFV. The turret has two men in it. The turret doesn't have to be big to mount a gun as small as a 30mm. If it was say a 57 or 76mm, I would agree

I find the turret to be very small for this hull.
