The 221-MP (Codename: Merlin) is a twin engine, single seater, high speed, high maneuverability, ordinary diamond wing fighter. It was based on the trumpeter of Touhou, Merlin Prismriver. Merlin appeared as a boss on stage 4 along with her sisters in Touhou 7: Perfect Cherry Blossom, Merlin is the middle one in the Prismriver sisters, she belongs to a phantom species of Youkai, she can perform music with her trumpet without even touching it. This jet feature a Sound Blaster like the 128-LP and 088-LYP. This jet has a top speed of around 1500 KM/H, turn half a circle in about 5 secs, roll half a circle in less than a quarter of a second.
