Steampunk Copter- "Moai"

89.2k laSoul  6.6 years ago

A Steampunk heli I made in my free time. While it looks like the fix of a freight train and an cargo copter, it has its fun quirks.
Controls:
Throttle hovers you up
Pitch drives you forward
Yaw and Roll are turn intensities
AC 1 + VTOL UP is to activate the weapon groups
AC 2 drops the bombs
AC 3 drops the cartoony TNT

You know, I was wondering why it was called “moai” but I now see why @laSoul

Definitely. When I use 'em, it often seems as if I have to sacrifice quality, but you seem to have had no trouble with that here. The details are spot-on.

@GearsNSuch Gizmos are a shortcut to lower part count, more detail, less lag for people.

Wow. The little details on this thing are extremely well done. I especially liked your use of various parts as decoration.
