THIME-XX6 Model H
In the year 1951, the THIME division had sent people back to build a plane that could save the USA from the Cold War and the Korean War; of which being able to take off and land from a carrier or regularly. At the end of the design process of what was there in 1951, this plane was made. It is a mixed propulsion turbojet superiority fighter/bomber. It has 3 turbojets and 1 turboprop (which is technically a turbojet, which is why I believe that it still counts as a jet fighter. Just to clear up confusion). The turboprop is surrounded by the main intake, and the side jets each have their own intakes.
This beauty has quite a lot of fuel, and has a total air time of 25 minutes on the fuel it has (it takes 15 seconds for 1% of the fuel to burn). Furthermore, the drop tanks have a total of 56% of the total fuel on the plane, so only drop them if you want to be more maneuverable or if you want to land with less weight.
Max speed at sea level is roughly 430 mph (0.6 mach), and at 40,000 feet it is roughly 970 mph (1.2 mach). Absolute maximum speed is 1,020 mph (1.3 mach). It can also climb quite well. I got to 40,000 feet in almost 45 seconds after taking off.
Two models of this plane were built (the only difference is the armament). This is the multirole version, but there is a CAS version too
Weapons:
- 4 25mm "Dracon" autocannons (basic shell, multirole; 150 rounds each (600 total))
- 2 1,000 pound bombs
- 2 AIM-9b Sidewinder Air to Air missiles (thanks to @mikoyanster)
Controls:
AG1= Arresting hook and landing lights
AG2= Drop Tanks
AG3= Nothing, I'm dumb and put this on AG4
AG4= Drogue Chute
Trim= Trim
Brakes= Airbrakes and Brakes
I hope y'all enjoy!!!
SIDE NOTES:
- I originally made this plane... and it came out like GARBAGE. I made this one, and it is significantly better. Though, it is still quite slow and a tad weird to maneuver
- It took me 4 hours to finish all the testing and try to fix the wing loading. It maneuvers way better than before, but I can't do much more without removing fuel
- I FORGOT THE G-FORCE LIMITS!!! Sorry
Again, I hope you enjoy! Signing off.

Warning! At take off the plane veers to the left or right because the front landing gear is not symmetrical (I built ~60% of this plane without mirroring and the landing gear is annoying to fix). The landing gear is slightly to the right of the center of mass
This was based on the XP-81 and the Messerschmitt Me.262
@LieutenantSOT yep no problem!
@PapaKernels oh, cool! Thank you so much
@LieutenantSOT look at my FF-983, that's a good place to start with custom control surfaces. Look at the pitch, for the rotator, just copy that ft code, it will allow you to have pitch and trim so it actually looks realistic. That's a good place to start.
@PapaKernels you're fine! I like criticizm. I'm learning how to do better wing panelling and fuselage building (and next what I want to learn is custom missiles and cockpits). I like this build, but it is still not what I envisioned it to be. I want to rebuild it because I love the design I made, it's just that this craft does not fully reflect said design. I also want to put more detail into it. So, in the end, I am perfectly fine with criticism!
@LieutenantSOT np. I hope your ok with some, shall we say harsh criticism, it a good plane dont get me wrong, but I have some things to critique.
@PapaKernels Okay, thank you so much!
Yes I will. Expect the video either Sunday or next week sometime (whenever i can get wifi next)
@PapaKernels could you do this one too?
@NexusGaming lol
@LieutenantSOT looks like a chonky mig-15 with a XP-75 nose
@SimpleCollector lol
np!
Thanks! @Sadboye12
Oh, and thanks for the decals!
Thanks! @Cyan
