The j-1 pyro otherwise known as "fire bird" by the pilots and ground crew, got its name from the orange fire it shoots out everytime pilots turn on the engine. The aircraft is a cold war era aircraft that usually was flown around and near russian borders and some where even put to the task of flying in vietnam,it was quite effective in the role of interceptor and was usually diving above its enemies and shooting its rocket before flying away at near mach 1 speeds, although not the fastest,it is one of the more manouverable jets in the US arsenal
