Lippisch P13A-C "Kohlensturm" – The Coal-Fired Menace!
My entry for the SimplePlanes Superweapon Challenge
Revamping the experimental 1944 Lippisch delta-wing into a ruthless dogfighter! While the original relied on ramming, the P13A-C "Kohlensturm" ("Coal Storm") weaponizes its unorthodox design with terrifying upgrades:
Coal-Burst Afterburner
The core superweapon! A rear combustion chamber burns pulverized coal, injecting superheated exhaust for explosive thrust surges. Perfect for lightning strikes or escaping counterattacks – just pray the enemy doesn’t downwind!
Wing-Mounted Carnage (C-Variant Mods):
- 4x 20mm cannons (2 per wing) for devastating broadside strafing
- Reinforced titanium leading edges – ramming stays optional (but not recommended!)
- Added some rockets and bombs because why not?
Performance Dominance:
- Blazing Speed: Coal bursts + delta-wing aerodynamics = near-supersonic dashes at low altitude.
- Agile Predator: Short wingspan + lightweight lets it out-turn most jets.
- Stealth(ish): Coal smoke screens confuse radar… and pilots (bonus feature!).
Why it works:
The P13A’s lightweight airframe handles coal’s raw power without heavy fuel tanks, making it a nimble, relentless attacker. It’s a steampunk nightmare – part WWII relic, part prototype, all terror.

@Onat67 thanks you're the best 🥰
@Riyadqadri Ok. Here is an upvote as honorable mention reward.

I can not judge this as a superweapon because this is not.
@Erionh Thanks, you are unique.
