Previous Prototypes
The XF-3 is the third experimental aircraft designed for the Zeppelin Carrier program for the Berlingschon air force. Previous prototypes consisted of the XF-1 which was a tri plane, though promising the aircraft had troubles with latching back onto the Zeppelin. Next was the XF-2 which was a complete failure, it failed to meet all expectations of the air force.
Zeppelin Carrier Program
Developed as a way to make the air force more mobile, the Zeppelin Carrier Program aimed to create a hybrid between and zeppelin and an aircraft carrier. Started 5 years before the war, this project has already made several advancements in the field of Zeppelin technology and gained insight to the Aircraft Carriers capabilities.
