The Scout Tundra Baja, the ultimate off-roading machine!
Green version, it looks nice. (Link)
Blue version, also looks nice. (Link)
And this one is exactly like the blue one, just it has a blue stripe. XD
Functions:
- Act 1: left blinker
- Act 2: Right blinker
- Act 3: Head lights
- Act 4: Fog lights
- Act 5: Activate Gyro (quite handy, but not realistic)
- Act 6: Detach mudguards (can hit the ground and blow up on rough terrain, which is why I added this)
Features:
- Super duper suspension
- Shmexy looks
- Stuff in the back in case you get stuck
- A fire extinguisher in case the heat goes up in your shmexy truck
- Amazing off-road abilities
- Realistic performance (2x top speed because it’s 2x scale)
- Working snorkel (It’s supposed to be a desert car, but I drive it everywhere, including 2 metres under the water. XD)
Description stuff:
I built this to fill in the gap between the Scout Tundra and the Scout Tundra Civilian. It’s incredibly good at off-roading and rough terrain, while it’s also extremely realistic and nice to drive. Suspension is highly tuned, detail is incredible, looks absolutely fantastic! Great to drive and look at at the same time!
I tried making it 1:1 scale, but it kinda wrecked the suspension and the rebound speed looked ridiculous, so I didn’t do it.
Enjoy!

@jamesPLANESii yeaaaa about that........... i made the engine in the snorkel very very high and now it can littraly drive under -1000 feet
My mind is nuts right now cus i really need to make a WW2 carrier from scratch
@Daylight Yeah the snorkel has to stay out of the water lol. It's literally just a raised intake
When you say working snorkel and drived it 2m...........
Love it! Can I get a link to the plain chassis?
@jamesPLANESii now that I think of it, it would be nice to see a track/rally version of this. So far you have civilian and full offroad, but nothing for soft and relatively forgiving terrain.
Nope lol @ChromeGamer25
This thing reminds me of a Chevy trophy truck, which makes me wonder: is there any particularly vehicle you based the body on?
Thanks @FCBACE
@jamesPLANESii nice job!
Ok. :) @RTNF
@jamesPLANESii although I have to ask, can I borrow the suspension system from the front end? It's much more efficient than the ones I'm currently using.
@RTNF XD
I was trying to make a rally spec version of the Tundra Civillian, and I didn't see this post. Looks like you beat me to it XD
You can do a repaint as long as you make other modifications as well. @Latios22
And maybe some shocks and mods?
Also mind if I can do a fresh repaint? (That’s all I know how to do)
Love the word use of “Shmexy” like in “fire extinguisher in case of a fire in this shmexy truck”
Thanks! @EnderSharky
This thing is really well made! It's amazing! Well done!
Hey jamesplanesii I have a question would you like to help me with testing my new antonov that I’m making you seem like a good person at building and I would like to know what you think of my creations
Dig your camera in it and it’s near the back. @Awesomecars
Sadly I cannot access it because of the vehicle but if there is a motor already scaled down that someone has put up that would be great
No sadly. But you can use the engine off this if you want! @Awesomecars
Is there a way to scale down parts on iOS?
No. The engine is scaled down and is inside the top of the snorkel. @Awesomecars
