F-4EJ Phantom II
McDonnell Douglas F-4EJ Phantom II operated by the JASDF. I attempted to make the flight model as realistic as possible, along with realistic air-to-air missiles. The cockpit is not detailed, if anybody wants to complete it you're more than welcome to. I have not touched this game in a long time nor do I plan on returning, so I figured I would just upload what I had.
Controls:
-AG 1: Afterburner
-AG 2: Airbrake
-AG 3: Arresting hook
-AG 4: Drop center pylon
-AG 5: Drop fuel tanks
-AG 6: Drag chute
-AG 7: Fold wingtips
-AG 8: Keep activated
-VTOL: Flaps
-Trim: Trim
How to fire missiles:
1. Lock and fire prep version
2. Fire launch version (For AIM-7 maintain lock during missile flight)
I wanted to make the missiles perform more closely to their real-life counterparts, so I added two stages to the firing process, one for the motor and one for the seeker. This allows the missiles to accelerate only while the motor is on. This results in longer flight times, so don’t expect a splash right away. They also lose energy in turns, making them easier to defend against.
