History series

The Peace Walker Model 5 is a torpedo bomber designed in the 30s. It is a mono-wing aircraft with close canopy, retractable landing gear, powerful radio and engine. At design stage engineers find severe directional stability issue of the aircraft so they enlarge the vertical stabilizer and add two extra at the horizontal stabilizer's tip. A two man crew, one pilot who also need to aim the torpedo and a rear gunner who also need to operatoe the radio and navigate the aircraft.
Although the model 5 (Given designation TBP)flight performance is good, the navy wants a three man crew and folding wing for carrier operation in which the TBP lacks both of them. As a result, the Douglas TBD Devastator was chosen and the production history of the TBP ends. However, this aircraft did let our engineers gain valuable experience about build new-era mono-wing aircraft. Therefore, we decided to recrate one now.
