Lack of Air Resistance

This experiment shows air resistence is not working in some situations. Both weigh the same, and are in the same place relative to the cockpit. According to air resistance, the purple should fall first, since it doesn't have as much air resistence vertically. But they both fall at the same rate when started in the air. Enjoy and feedback is appreciated.

I noticed that air resistance is only for things attached to the cockpit.
I've noticed this on some large scale designs too (haven't uploaded any) but I'd have a supersonic plane and the engine (off) would still travel the same speed and the plane (broken off)
Stillreally cool tho
Yea unless it was a feather, this is irrelevant @NovaTopaz
First off, fall distance isn't great enough. Until objects reach terminal velocity, no differnce will be noticed
