The SLS system is the new replacement for the reusible space shuttle and is the first reusible rocket. It is being developed and designed for the launch of ORIEN, the space capsule that will transport the first of man kind to the red planit. It goes up to altitude, launches ORIEN or the paylode, and returns to earth.. on this modle, there is no paylode or capsule but it is reusible and can return to the same launch pad. 1 is release from the gate and VOLT can move the gate.
