The MF.605 Goblin was among the first jet aircraft in the world to achieve Mach 0.99 in the 1950s, as well as being in service with air forces worldwide. As well as being fast, it was reasonably agile, being able to dogfight with equally sized propellor aircraft. It could also be fitted with a variety of external stores. Seen here as the Goblin F.2, in Operational Grey.
