@Medikohl I always looked at gliding as trying to have the highest maxium speed at the shallowest angle like if your maxium speed you can acheive is 100 mph at 15degrees then you would be better off than someone who can sustsain 90 mph at 15 degrees.

@QSDragon I did it in sandbox with both being AI controlled but yeah AI's do have some inconsistancy and if i won in one senario with .1 mile lead you might win if i did it again with a .1 lead or something.

@salvador3031 The ai is garbage at flying anything, I'd be more interested in seeing your race time. If you're having trouble getting to the finish / blowing the ai outa the water you're probably being to rough on the controls. Gliders need gentle inputs over time. A light bank with very little pitch and slightly more yaw will do wonders. Also, our gliders have almost nothing in common. Mines twice as heavy, alot larger, different wing structure etc. Not sure why you want to compare them so heavily.

@salvador3031 I think it's a fundamental trade off. the more lift you get the slower your max speed due to wing span causing more drag, the more max speed you have the lower your lift so you might not have a shallow enough glide slope to hit every ring.

This is certainly on the spectrum of the best gliders I've seen. Nice work!

I can tell that you are really trying to make it function which is good i would recomend taking the landing gear and sizing it down. the fusaloge.
