EE Tilt

7,219 AquiliusEpic  4.8 years ago

Another adapted build from the archived files of Epic Engineering, the Tilt is a naval attack aircraft with a little gimmick.
The air to ground missiles are semi-concealed behind the fuselage. For this reason, they are tilted upwards and launched into the air at an angle of up to 45 degrees. This provides a course of flight with a higher ballistic arch, being able to punch through the deck armour of a ship instead of the common belt armour at closer ranges.
Also notable is that the RIO and Pilot sit in 2 separate compartments, reminiscent of vintage Blackburn designs.
