After the riding dirty tournament. I started working on more tanks. the body of this model was designed to be a larger faster and more stable off raod vehicle. it failed. however out of it came a super powered street vehicle. now tuned for Air strip drag the T-5 model D is ready to tear the road appart.

@LiamW no actually quite the oppisite.
Larger wheels mean more speed. if you look at the effect of the speed a circle moves at, at any given spot. the larger a wheel. the faster the out side part spins if the part spinning it stays at the same speed in the middle.

Theoretically bigger wheels means more torque less speed and small ones mean more speed less torque. I think mine had not enough torque to get to high speed @Typhlosion130

@LiamW bigger doesn't always mean better. I tried larger wheels with this thing. it then became stupidly slow... idk why.

I tried that too now and I've realised that I needed bigger wheels @Typhlosion130

@LiamW that explains a lot. you only got 6 wheels. and 3 engines. you want 6 engines. and 6 wheels.

@Typhlosion130 one engine for two wheels and i had six wheels. im abandoning that design anyway

@LiamW how many wheels do you have? and how many engines do you have? and are you sure you connected each wheel to its own engine?

@Typhlosion130 I gave this more wheels more power and less downforce. You'd have to try pretty hard to bring the drag count lower, but ill try even more engines

@LiamW well the reason down force slows you down is the same reason every thing else does. its drag. you need to reduce the drag of your vehicle. you need to increase its engine power. and wheels to compensate. you need more forwards traction. and more.

@Typhlosion130 yeah, what i dont get is that i gave my car another engine and a couple more wheels and less downforce and the top speed didnt change. Whilst 250 is fast, its nothing compared to others in this game

@FlyingNarwhal Down force SLOWS YOU DOWN. down force slows you down. but keeps your vehicle more firmly planted into the ground. Giving you more traction on your wheels.

as for your wheels. the number of wheels means nothing. the reason this thing is fast is because each wheel has its own engine. each engine in this thing only powers a single wheel. which gives it the maximum power out put. thus it goes this fast.

yea I'm putting tons of downforce on mine but the thing I don't get is that my speed can't get to 400 and I have more wheels than u@Typhlosion130

@LiamW I'm getting 33 seconds. but with 1 ring missed because the AI turns before it actually hits hte ring so it cuts corners. thus giving me 38 seconds.

@Alienbeef0421 vertical wings. to give it a low vertical wing load. it turns with its wings for not its wheels really.

@FlyingNarwhal lots of wheels. each wheel has its own dedicated engine. with maximum traction. that gives the speed.
Down force. gives stability and glues you to the ground. it keeps you on the ground so you don't go flying in turns. and it helps with traction and such. it does hurt your speed however it seems you top out at 417mph no matter how much engine power you have so this thing could handle plenty of down force. afterall. every wheel on this thing except the very front 2 has its own dedicated 600hp engine.

Mine had a top speed of 250 then i gave it less downforce, 6 wheels and 3 engines and its top speed still hasn't changed : (

@FlyingNarwhal nope, just little wheels with max grip and downforce

and are those xml wheels with increased grip??

    8.2 years ago

this has a consistent time of 0:37 because it always misses 1 check point
and one question how do you have get that insane acceleration ??@LiamW @Typhlosin130
