Tupolev Tu-184
Uses intakes from Beta 1.5
This is a model of a developed but never produced Tu-124/134 modification. When Tu-124 was transformed into Tu-134 by moving engines to the tail, making a T-tail and lengthening wings and fuselage, another way was considered and designed up to preliminary drawings - making underwing engines like b737, which also made a new main langing gear imperative. This is the model from that drawings, essentially fuselage and wings from tu-134, with tu-124 tail plus new landing gear and underwing engines (the real project was using original tu-124/134 low bypass d-20p-125/d-30 engines, but i desided to give it something more modern looking). Pretty obvious, this 1970s project later got some influence on actual (though much bigger and heavier, a b757 competitor) 1988 Tu-204
Has a camera inside cockpit
Has properly workin thrust reversers!
Landing gear doors were pain in the ass to synchronise with landing gear itself, feel free to use a concept.
Controlls:
G - Landing gear;
AG1 - Thrust reversers. Work like on real plane - you press 1, see them opening - and then APPLY FULL THROTTLE. Unfortunately, you should only deactivate 1 when Throttle=0, otherwise it wil stop braking, but thrustreversers will freese open visually.
AG2 - Flaps; (0% = Flaps retracted, 100% DOWN = Flaps deployed)
AG3 - Spoilers (= Airbrakes, 100% UP = Deployed, 0% = Retracted, i added a compensating mechanism to the stabiliser, but still tends to pitch up the plane a bit, use on approach with partial deployment or after touch down with full deployment)
AG6 - Landing lights;
AG7 - Nav. Lights;
AG8 - Ground steering (sensitivity adjustment, when active - steers to the limit, when deactivated - steers 5 degrees, deactivate on takeoffs and landing, activate for ground maneuvers only)
Take off procedure - Trim 1/2 up, flaps 1/2 down, full thrust
Landing procedure - Full flaps, trim ~ 1/2 up, 65% thrust with full flaps. Be careful with spoilers on landing, they pitch up the plane (surprisingly, that was an issue in real life, more modern planes compensate that automatically with stabilizer adjustment)
Said to be working on mobile devices. From my experince - almost a sldeshow on a phone, somewhat playable at Samsung Tab.
