F.T.R.C. 47 medium bomber
Although they share almost nothing in common at this point, I’d call this my 2nd RNP-5 remake
Also, there’s a bug with the right aileron (connections) that the game won’t let me fix cause I can’t upload a new xml version. That sucks.
History
The F.T.R.C. 47 was a twin engine, single pilot medium bomber, designed in late 1943 to give the air force a new aircraft capable of bombing under defended positions fast at medium to low altitudes, and getting out of the area as soon as possible. Therefore, it included two moderately powerful engines, and the majority of its defenses were usually located in the rear. Like all medium bombers of F.T.R.C., the 47 also included 2 cannons mounted on the sides for strafing, and to pick on any fighters coming in front. Although the speed advantage wasn’t as useful as hoped, with bombers often still getting attacked by fighters, the aircraft’s sturdiness, defensive armament, and decent payload, proved to make the bomber decently successful, with around 1,900 made until 1946, and only about 100 lost in combat.

Notes
glad I got the turrets to work after 5 years, although you can’t really see down when using them
also, the SP crosshair thing when you select a target isn’t actually accurate for the turrets, so you have to aim on your own lol
the original RNP-5 had a tail gear because of poor flight characteristics, this one has cause it’s l o n g.
honestly a pretty fun build to play with, although I’ll say that for any of my builds when I like them
Enjoy!

@SimplePilot28465 thanks! I’ll admit the code was “borrowed” but still took a while to get them to work lol
