a craft made for awsomer's alternate history role-play
a little history into these drone/manned helis
the scorpion was a pretty reliable helicopter, serving in pretty much every conflict since it was created
its strange design means that other aircraft can't hit its rotors easily
the copter was designed to be a sweeper drone, mopping up any targets that had escaped death during the initial advance by the main forces. however, it also saw use as a tank buster
enemies who saw this would mostly know their time was up
however, the thing could be shot down by damaging the propellors on the bottom of the craft, although machine guns and infantry rifles don't even scratch the rotors
it was replaced by the guardian
some of them survived by being recalled after being damaged, killing everyone shooting at it, or pure luck. the ones that crash landed were left there as a reminder of the horror of the conflict that took place there.
years later, a zombie apocalypse happened, which devastated the population of the wright isles and the kingdom of krakabola. the remnants soon discovered a working scorpion in their base, and re-activated it. this In turn, activated all the working scorpions that had crashed, were recalled, and were rusting. the km now had control of all the scorpions in the area, and put them to work killing the zombies until a cure was found
this unit was shot down but survived, having sustained damage to a rotor, the wings, landing strut and tail stabiliser
it has also rusted, but still works fine
