Peregrine Phantom III bis {Arctic Phantom} (Wahoo12 - Tundra Challenge)
This is my entry for the "Tundra Challenge". <<FAKE HISTORY>> The Peregrine firm was recently requested by several Scandanavian nations to build an all-weather interceptor able to reliably shoot down enemy bombers and fighters in even the toughest conditions. Peregrine responded with a modified and improved Phantom III, designated the Phantom III bis, or Arctic Phantom. This improved variant featured an Infrared search and track system (IRST) much like the Sukhoi Flanker series, improved avionics, Improved aerodynamics for easier flying in snowstorms, a larger parachute and reinforced gear for high speed landings, and numerous other changes. The aircraft will serve in the Finnish and Norwegian air force as well as a Saab produced variant in Sweden. The aircraft shown is a Finnish Phantom III bis, designated PN-441. <<CONTROLS>> AG 1 for navigation lights, AG 2 for gear lights/landing mode (activates a stabilizing computer, limiting movement), AG 3 for stall recovery activation, AG 4 to drop tanks, AG 5 for parachute. Built completely on IOS and IOS friendly. Enjoy!
