PC-3 Swinger

165 ArrowAero  3.4 years ago

With Arrow Inc. running short on money and investors while trying to develop their turbojet program, engineers decided that the airframe of the old warbird that was the Infuriator would make a great basis for a civilian model. The result was this, the PC-3 Swinger. PC stood for personal/civilian while it kept the designation number from it’s warbird ancestor. It was subtly updated with enlarged primary wings swept at a slightly different angle, and some redistribution of fuel tanks helped stabilize the aircraft further. The powerplant was detuned significantly and the propellor size lowered, however the aircraft is still able to easily reach a cruising speed of 320 miles an hour. The aircraft was somewhat succesful and helped bring Arrow Inc. back from the brink of bankruptcy. As always, good luck pilots!
