Covair XFY-1 Pogo (Experimental)

##For those experienced pilots...no details on this plane, just my study before going into a complex build. But I see exciting to fly fly and land this -

This is a challenge .... easy takeoff, but you need to practice for landing

This is my simple study of a Convair-XFY-1 Pogo. Pogo was an experimental VTOL fighter of the 1950s that never got into production due to complex handling, and the same here for my simple build too. It will be very challenging. But I hope you can try it, and it may even be fun if you like challenging planes.

Instruction:

1) Takeoff is easy - hit AG1 (turn on the gyroscope) before you start the engines.
(I will continue the post)
2) Hit AG1 again to turn off the gyroscope for level flight. Now fly normally like a fighter plane. The top speed is 645 mph on level flight and more than March 1 while diving; this will be one of the fastest propeller planes.

3) For landing, reduce the speed to 250 mph or lower,
if you find your spot to land, hit AG1 to turn on the gyro again.
Reduce the throttle to reduce the altitude. WATCH OUT for the altitude while landing backward. The speed indicated is backward, which should not be more than 20 mph. More than 25 may be a rough landing, and it could damage the craft. Check out the tutorial video -

Landing is nasty; please check

this video tutorial before you do - >>>
